Returns & Refunds
At Home Raised Dachshunds, your happiness and peace of mind matter to us. We want you to feel confident and comfortable with your new puppy. If a return or refund becomes necessary, please carefully review the policy below to ensure all requirements are met. For health-related matters, kindly refer to our Health Guarantee and follow the outlined procedures.
Puppies purchased from Home Raised Dachshunds may only be returned by the original buyer.
All return requests must be made within 30 days of the puppy’s delivery date.
The puppy must be returned in the same general health condition as when it was received.
A return may be approved if the incorrect puppy was delivered or if the puppy does not match the description or images provided on our website.
Before returning a puppy, you must contact us to obtain a Return Puppy Authorization (RPA). When submitting your request, please include:
The reason for the return
Veterinary records if the return is related to a health concern
Once eligibility is confirmed, we will issue an RPA number along with clear return shipping instructions.
The buyer is responsible for all return shipping expenses.
The puppy must be transported in compliance with all applicable animal transport regulations.
Any risk of injury, illness, or loss during return transit is assumed by the buyer.
Upon arrival, the puppy will undergo a health and condition review.
If all return requirements are met, we will approve the return and issue a refund to the original payment method within 2–5 business days.
If a licensed veterinarian provides written confirmation that the puppy is unhealthy within 30 days of delivery, the purchase may be canceled.
In approved cases, the refund will include the puppy’s purchase price and original transportation costs.
Refunds will not be issued for cancellation requests submitted after 30 days from the purchase date.
All payments and refunds are processed in U.S. Dollars (USD).
Exchange rates applied during refunds depend on your bank or payment provider at the time of processing.
We are not responsible for currency conversion differences or bank-related fees.
Please examine your puppy immediately upon arrival. If you notice any health concerns or believe the incorrect puppy was delivered, contact us right away so we can address the issue promptly.
