Our Health Commitment

Veterinary Examination

Each puppy receives a complete health evaluation by a licensed veterinarian before leaving our care. This exam includes a full physical assessment to ensure your puppy is healthy and ready for their new home.

Vaccinations & Preventive Care

All puppies are current on age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming treatments. You will receive written health records detailing all veterinary care, vaccinations, and preventive treatments provided prior to delivery.

Genetic Health Coverage

We offer a one-year genetic health guarantee covering serious hereditary conditions. If a licensed veterinarian diagnoses a qualifying genetic defect within the first year, we will provide either:

• A replacement puppy of comparable value, or

• A partial refund, subject to review and agreement of terms.

Congenital Health Assurance

Our puppies are guaranteed free from life-threatening congenital conditions for the first six (6) months. If such a condition is confirmed by a licensed veterinarian within this period, we will offer a replacement puppy or partial refund, as mutually agreed.

Buyer Responsibilities

Initial Veterinary Visit

You must schedule a veterinary examination within 72 hours of receiving your puppy. This visit is required to validate the health guarantee. Failure to complete this step will void the guarantee.

Continued Veterinary Care

To maintain coverage, your puppy must receive ongoing veterinary care, including routine vaccinations, parasite prevention, and wellness exams. Veterinary records should be kept as proof of care.

Proper Care & Living Conditions

Your puppy must be provided with proper nutrition, clean water, safe housing, and appropriate exercise. Any signs of neglect, abuse, or improper care will void this health guarantee.

Exclusions

This health guarantee does not cover:

• Minor or treatable illnesses that do not affect long-term health

• Conditions caused by accidents, injury, or environmental factors

• Health issues that arise after the 72-hour initial veterinary exam that are not genetic or congenital

Filing a Health Claim

Notification & Documentation

If a covered condition is diagnosed, you must notify us immediately. A detailed veterinary report including diagnostic findings must be submitted.

Verification

We reserve the right to request confirmation from a second licensed veterinarian of our choosing before approving any claim.

Resolution Options

Once a qualifying condition is confirmed, we will discuss available options, including a replacement puppy or partial refund, based on the circumstances.

Ongoing Support

Our relationship with you does not end at pickup or delivery. We are always available to answer questions and offer guidance regarding your Dachshund’s health and well-being.
